Hans Fritsch

President

Born and raised in Germany, Hans moved to the United States in 1984. After seven years of working in fine and not-so-fine dining establishments, he was hired (or let’s say “discovered”) by founder Henry Pauk. In 1995, Hans made Henry an offer he just couldn’t refuse and purchased Schlossadler, Inc. Hans has been working with wines for over 25 years now.

Melissa Gauthier

A/P, A/R, Payroll, HR

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. I graduated from California State University, Long Beach in 2007 from the school of business with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting and Real Estate Law. I have over five years experience in small business accounting, payroll, and I pride myself on being a highly skilled and results oriented executive. My communication skills have made me an asset with customer service, and employee and business relations. In 2011 after the birth of my daughter Ryder and having taken a break from the corporate world, I joined the Schlossadler family. I love the perks of working in the wine industry and being able to try all the amazing wines Schlossadler has to offer, but best of all is my 5 minute commute to the office. I currently reside in Vista, CA with my husband Adam and daughter Ryder.

Joy Ciolino

I joined Schlossadler in August of 2009 and I am thrilled to be part of such a wonderful team of professional wine consultants. A former restaurateur, I always enjoyed pairing wine with food for my patrons. For the past five years I have enjoyed sharing my passion and wine knowledge with my clients, friends and family.

Jilian Alaskin

I have been in the wine Industry in Northern California for 7 years Wine and Fashion are the two top passions I adore. Born In Sacramento, a northern California native, I currently reside in Yuba City with two cats and an American Bull dog named Buddy . My greatest interests have been wine and fashion. I have been in wine business for seven years tasting, educating and experiencing wines from all around the world. My other passion is my small tailoring business since 1998. Besides my love for wine, fashion and textiles, my interests range from ballroom dancing to running, and just living a lifestyle that keeps me fit.

Agi Fritsch

This is the story... short version Once upon a time a young woman, known as Agi, moved form Poland to the promised land- America. Looking for the perfect profession and new challenges, she worked in many places, owned her little businesses and finally found her calling at Schlossadler Wines.

After twelve years of being part of the Schlossadler Family, she still loves to travel, share and discover new wines. Her co-workers at Schlossadler are her friends. Many babies have been born; many bottles of wine have been emptied and consumed. She is a big part of the team and she is the instigator to all the fun and to get them all in innocent trouble.

Julene Schlobohm

I am a California girl who enjoys all things international. The travel bug bit me after graduating from college and taking my first adventure to Europe and I have been treating myself to the sights of the world ever since. I applied for a job whose ad read – “Are you tired of waiting tables?” And I was. And here I am. Since 2002, Schlossadler Wines has been a perfect fit for me. Now I can enjoy the wines of the world right here in sunny Southern California too. I have met lifelong friends here, and I'm excited about a lifelong supply of our fantastic wines! Cheers!

Having been with Schlossadler since 2002, my passion to match people with wine has been deeply rewarding. I've always loved wine, travelling and people, and my position with Schlossadler has provided the opportunity to experience them all. My interest in European wines began with my first trip to Europe many years ago where I discovered nuances in wine and what made each one unique. Since then, I've travelled abroad several more times to keep "refreshing" my palate and knowledge of European wines. Since the birth of my son, Spencer, and my marriage to Mike, I don't travel to Europe as much, but throughout the U.S. to introduce our exclusive wines to you.

As far back as I can remember wine has always been a big part of my life. Both my parents being European always had wine on the dinner table to accompany my mother’s delicious Spanish cooking. Probably too young to drink wine, my parents encouraged me to take a sip here and there, although I’ll admit It was wine wasn’t my favorite beverage at the time. Oh how things have changed! My love for wine grew so much that I went on to study wine and become a certified sommelier, or better known as a wine geek! I am definitely not a snob when it comes to wines though, I am such a huge believer that cost of wine does not always determine its quality. Tasting wines from all over the world has really helped me to discover that. With all this passion for wine, I now have wonderful career where I get to travel, taste incredible wines, and meet amazing new people. I can truly say I love my job!

If I could have a quote that explains who I am, it would be... "My only regret in life is that I didn't drink enough Champagne." I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Now I know everyone has different feelings about the town, but for me, it has made me into who I am today. I grew up with the glitz and the glamour which instilled in me how to enjoy life everyday. And how do you celebrate in Vegas? By raising a glass of champagne! I try to enjoy every day; whilst it be by traveling to share my love for wine, going backpacking in the mountains or exploring the world's oceans by scuba diving.
